I was honoured to join the Le Cheile FRC team in November 2020. My own background is in Early Years Education and Community Development. My training is M.Soc. Sc & BA (ECS) My role is to co-ordinate all services within Le Cheile FRC’s remit, manage our buildings, engage and support staff as they do their work, collaborate with existing services locally and nationally and when a niche is found in the Community find a way to counteract it. Lastly, it is my responsibility to oversee the Financial and Compliance with Legislation aspect of running a Family Resource Centre. Main aim of Le Cheile FRC is to provide a range of services and supports locally that contribute to the well-being of service users. These services include: family support, Meitheals, parenting programmes e.g. Parents Plus & NVR, childcare facilities, counselling services for adults & adolescents, Literacy Support, Community Health project, Social Prescribing Link Worker, Admin support for groups and individuals and meeting room hire. We strongly believe that life is a cycle and at times, everyone will need support with the challenges that come along. We aim to provide a caring and appropriate response to every service user.
