In September, Le Chéile Family Resource Centre proudly joined the third annual Together at the Castle event, sharing a stand with the HSE Health Promotion team. It was a fantastic day of connecting with the community, young and old alike. A big thank you to everyone who helped at the stand! See photos below.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to host a Sleeping Workshop with Dr. Jean O’Hanlon, a renowned Sleep and Insomnia Therapist, Mindfulness Teacher, and Health & Wellbeing Coach. Perfect for those struggling with sleep or anyone interested in improving their sleep quality, the workshop will take place on Wednesday, October 2nd, from 11-1pm in the Lombard Room, Mercy Centre. In November, we’ll be holding our Church Gate Collection on the 9th and 10th. Every donation counts, and your support will go a long way in helping us continue to serve the community.

Le Chéile FRC is always open for a chat, information, or to provide assistance. With a wide variety of activities, services, and groups running, we encourage you to drop by anytime. We offer an array of services, including Community Health Project, Social Prescribing, Art Therapy, Family Support, Counselling, Literacy for children and adults and support for Ukrainian families. We also host groups like Laugh & Craft, Men’s Shed, Parent & Toddler Group, Women’s Shed and more! Our centre is home to many community groups, such as AA, Al Anon, Active Retired Group, GA, Pilates, Yoga, Grow, Mallow Musical Society, Jehovah’s Witness meetings, Grow, Accord, Jigsaw, Camera Club, Youth theatre, Children’s art classes, Mallow Tuition, Baby massage, Taekwondo, and Mallow Choir. From youth theatre to baby massage and everything in between, there’s something for everyone. If you are looking for room hire for your group or meeting, the Mercy Centre and Le Chéile FRC have rooms for every occasion: McAuley Hall: 150 people seated. Lombard room: 60 people seated.
