Get ready for a magical, festive celebration as Le Chéile FRC in conjunction with the Women’s Shed hosts our annual Christmas Party for children on December 7^th (3-5pm) in the Mercy Centre (P51 PF10)! This much-anticipated event promises to be filled with joy and laughter. Santa himself will be making a special appearance ensuring memories that will sparkle for years to come. (€2 to visit with Santa and bring your own camera for pictures). It’s the perfect opportunity for families to come together, share in the magic of the season, and celebrate the joy of community. There will be a café, bric a brak, face painting, raffle and games. So mark your calendar and join us for an afternoon of holiday fun that will light up young faces and warm every heart.

As well as Christmas Cheer, we have some sadness in Le Chéile FRC, as the indomitable Sharon Darsan has left our team to pursue her passion in housing services and tenancy support. Sharon has touched so many lives during her 18 and a half years with us in Le Chéile, and we all wish Sharon all the best in her new adventure. We miss her already.

We deeply appreciate your ongoing support, which enables us to provide a safe space, resources, and essential services for all. Your generosity reflects the spirit of our community and empowers us to make a meaningful impact.

At Le Chéile FRC, we are more than a resource centre — we’re a welcoming community hub, offering a warm environment for chats, assistance, and a variety of enriching activities. From Community Health Projects and Social Prescribing to Art Therapy, Family Support, and Counselling, we’re here to support all ages. We also provide Literacy programs for children and adults, as well as assistance for Ukrainian families. Our activities include Laugh & Craft, Men’s Shed, Parent & Toddler Group, and Women’s Shed, among others. Our purpose-built childcare centre provides exceptional care and an engaging outdoor space for children aged 6 months to 6 years.

Whether you’re interested in social groups, youth theatre, baby massage, or just looking for a friendly place to connect, Le Chéile FRC has something for everyone.
