I am employed as Childcare Manager at Le Cheile FRC since September 2021. I am responsible for the overall day to day running of the Childcare service. As a Childcare Manager no day is ever the same. You are educating and caring for the children, making sure all the team is working together, meeting new families and dealing with the daily demands of a busy centre. I am responsible for the overall safety and well-being of children and staff within the service and setting policies and procedures for the service and ensuring their implementation. I participate in various childcare committees and outside agencies to communicate information regarding services, programs and areas of opportunities. What I love about my job: I am privileged to have the opportunity to work in a childcare service with so much outdoor space! This offers so much fun to the children with lots of room to explore. Working with children is a fantastic experience in watching them grow, play and achieve their milestones. The children make every day worthwhile as they are keen to share their news, call your name and give you a hug.
